MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN THE ISOPRENE RUBBER PRODUCTION ARE INTRODUCED IN “SINTEZ-KAUCHUK”
Sintez-Kauchuk, joint-stock company is constantly working to improve the existing technologies for the production of isoprene rubber.
The result of recently completed pilot tests was introduction of polyisoprene brand SKI-3 with improved features and environmental performance.
The company"s technical service has adjusted the formulation of cis-isoprene rubber by introducing the antioxidant Agidol-2 produced by Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant (SNHZ JSC) and a new anti-agglomerator (note: a reagent that prevents adhesion of rubber crumbs) Quantislip, invented by Qualitet Group.
According to the specialists of the company"s research center, as well as the Togliatti and Voronezh Research and Development Centers, the experimental rubber samples obtained in terms of their physical and mechanical properties are superior to the commercial SKI-3 used in the tire industry. They do not contain stearic acid, have a reduced ash content, and homologation within consumers has confirmed the improvement in the performance of rubber compounds, their elastic properties and fatigue endurance of technical rubbers. In addition to the qualitative improvements, other positive aspects of the use of new reagents, including reduction of negative environmental impact, are noted.
A number of foreign tire companies expressed their interest in the experimental rubber SKI-3 with improved features produced at the site of the Sintez-Kauchuk, joint-stock company. In May this year, 310 tons of the new product were produced and exported
