MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: FOCUS ON INTEGRATION
Members of Quality Assurance of the Management Company TAU Neftekhim took part in IV Moscow Forum of Directors organized by the world leader in the field of independent expertise, testing and certification - SGS.
The Forum of Directors is a unique communication platform for discussing topical issues and sharing experience in the field of management systems, launched in 2015. Its target audience is owners and managers of companies, quality managers, HSE managers, energy management, integrated management systems, leaders of risk management departments, directors for organizational development and innovations. TAU Group of Companies was represented by Rustam Bazyanov, Quality Director of TAU NefteKhim Management Company LLC, and Guzel Valeeva, Head of the International Certification Department.
“Top managers have a whole set of tools at their disposal for managing companies, such as ISO, 5S, TQM, WCM standards, risk management, corporate standards, etc. And today we have come to understand that ultimately all these tools should be integrated into a unified management system aimed at making profits and sustainable development of the company”, Mr. Rustam Bazyanov says. “The market presence requires to simultaneously take into account diverse aspects: consumer desires, environmental issues, interests of employees and the community, shareholders" requirements, etc. To achieve the goals of the organization in this situation is possible only under one condition – a well-coordinated work of all system mechanisms. This is what the International Organization for Standardization ISO brings us to, which processes all standards for management systems according to a single structure so that they can be integrated. In fact, these standards provide the foundation for building a unified management system.
Management tools and ways of their integration were discussed at the IV Forum of Directors; the participants shared their experiences and best practices on the example of the companies they manage. Our colleagues also spoke as speakers, they covered the topic: “Risk-oriented thinking in practice”, shared their experience in introducing a risk management system in the area of product quality using the example of copolymer and isoprene rubbers at Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, JSC and Sintez-Kauchuk, JSC describing the prerequisites for its implementation, the difficulties encountered, the results achieved and the plans for the future.
Following the reports, a live discussion took place during which urgent issues were actively discussed. The forum was dominated by the working atmosphere of people who were “on the same page” caring and willing to share their experience and knowledge which is an indisputable help in the development of companies.
